SAMPAŞ has been awarded at the Smart City Expo 2014
SAMPAŞ has been awarded among 120 projects from 30 different countries at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2014 with its “Transparent and Knowledge-Based City Management” project.
Smart City Expo World Congress 2014 has been organized with the participation of 400 cities, 242 companies and more than 10.500 visitors in Barcelona, Spain.
During the congress, smart city’s problems and solution offers were discussed under 6 major topics (Smart Society, Energy, Technology, Transportation, Governance and Sustainable Cities) by more than 300 worldwide expert.
SAMPAŞ has been awarded among 120 projects from 30 different countries at Smart City Expo World Congress 2014 with its “Transparent and Knowledge-Based City Management” project where Copenhagen Municipality got the “Project Award” with their “Copenhagen Connecting: Driving Data to Quality Service to the Benefit of Citizens and Business” project, Tel Aviv got the “City Award”, and Nigerian company OMAMI got the “Innovative Initiative Award”.
SAMPAŞ’s CEO Mr. Şekip KARAKAYA stated “Our worldwide award winning projects fill us with pride. It is a privilege for our company to be awarded among 120 valuable projects from 30 different countries at Smart City Expo 2014 with one of our “Smart City Management” project named “Transparent and Knowledge-Based City Management”. In addition to this precious award, in 2012, Beyoğlu Municipality was awarded with our project “Citizen Mayor” under the “City Award” category. Therefore, personally, it made me so proud that SAMPAŞ has become the one and only company in Turkey which was awarded in both “City” and “Projects” categories at the Smart City Expo World Congress.”
